Camel Racing

Camel racing is a huge sport in the Middle East and is becoming increasingly popular in the West. JAC has been thrilling audiences around Britain since 2000. From Cheltenham Racecourse to the Royal Cornwall Show to the Ballymena Steam Rally, these camels have been there and done that. The camels and the jockeys, specially trained by us, wear fantastically colourful Arabian style outfits to add pzazz to your event. As well as racing, the camels are on display all day so the public can meet these splendid animals and learn more about them.

Our standard number of camels for racing is 4 (We can provide additional camels if required, please contact us for pricing).

The camels race down the arena, the louder the cheering, the faster they go!
Our arena requirements are as follows;

  • a (preferably) double roped or fenced arena with a racing track of 10m x 100m (Min.)

  • a fenced off area 13m x 13m to include the lorry for the static display, with good access all round to ensure the safe movement of the camels to the arena

  • use of a radio mike/ PA system for the commentary
